The foundation of a stack must be based toward the center of the rack (1 SKU per rack). The stacks must be stable and have a slip sheet (cardboard) placed in the middle. The label needs to line up. (Stacked with a perfect imaginary line in mind).

Loading

The most important element of loading is loading quality. Loading tires correctly ensures that all products will fit on the trailer and prevents you from causing safety hazards for the employees unloading the trailer. 

Paid per trailer unloaded (No limit, usually 3-4 trailers per person) A trailer's payout is determined by its weight. Loading is paid by the amount of weight that you loaded. This is calculated by the LPN’s collected by the associate which will give the exact weight & quantity of each pallet or rack loaded. The current average is $120-$250+/day, this is based and is determined by the pace the associate works and the amount of work completed during their shift.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Overview: The team will be unloading boxes out of trailers. Specially, we will be picking up 5-150 lbs boxes off of a trailer floor and placing them onto an appropriately sized wooden pallet. Once full, that pallet is removed using a pallet jack and placed to the side. Get another pallet and repeat until the trailer is empty. Usually this is accomplished with 1-2 people max and we are averaging 2-3 hours per trailer.

The Supervisor of this team has a base pay of $18 base pay and has an incentive per trailer completed. That incentive can boost your average pay into $25 an hour if enough trailers are completed by your team daily. You also have the option to also work on trucks and get your portion of the unload pay out. So you could have all 3 on 1 day's pay (Base pay, plus the incentive per truck, plus truck pay if you worked on one) Please note: you can't be paid for all 3 at the same time. Once you start a truck, supervisor pay stops, when you finish the truck, supervisor pay starts again. Working on a truck is not a daily requirement but it is important that you are physically able to work on them if the situation calls for it.

Loading: 

• You will be loading 53ft trailers "high and tight" which means loading tires inside the trailer in the most compact and efficient way possible.
• The tires will be staged near each trailer on pallets/racks, and you will use a pallet jack to transport each pallet/rack inside the trailer to load.
• You will scan a barcode that is on each pallet before taking the pallet inside the trailer.
• Each tire on the pallet/rack can vary in size or weight 5lbs/100bs and you will be required to lift each tire while loading.
• Trailers that are loaded can range from 400 tires to 900 tires with full loads taking 2 hours or less to complete once trained.

Unloading:

• You will also be unloading fully packed 53ft trailers or 45/40ft containers on to pallets/racks.
• Trailers come loaded with anywhere from 300 tires to 1200 tires and you will be required to unload the trailer fully. Once trained trailers should take 1-3 hours.
• There can be multiple types of tires inside the trailers, when unloading you are required not to mix them.
• Everything will be done with a pallet jack when transporting your pallets/racks into and out of the trailer to stage them.

When unloading, we are unloading boxes from a floor loaded trailer onto a conveyor. Then we are scanning those boxes and putting them into cages.

Pay: Paid Per Trailer ($150-$200 per day)

• Paid for the work performed, the more work you do the more you get paid. Paid per case loaded/unloaded. On average $120-$200 per day or $15-$25 per hour.
• The fastest unloaders/loaders have made $25-$35 before as well.

• Assist in inventory management by accurately recording received items and updating inventory systems as necessary.

• Strong mechanical knowledge related to heavy equipment operation.
• Familiarity with materials handling techniques and best practices.

We are looking for Box Loader/Unloader team members in Frackville

When loading, we are floor loading boxes by hand onto a trailer from a conveyor. We are scanning the boxes with a scanner into the trailer and moving cages to/from staging. We are loading these boxes as fast, neat, and accurately as possible.

When unloading, we are unloading boxes from a floor loaded trailer onto a conveyor. Then we are scanning those boxes and putting them into cages.

Pay: Paid Per Trailer ($160-$200 per day)

• Paid for the work performed, the more work you do the more you get paid. Paid per case loaded/unloaded. On average $160-$200 per day or $16-$25 per hour.
• The fastest unloaders/loaders have made $25-$35 before as well.
• The faster and harder you work, the more money you make.

Schedule:

• 2nd Shift: Friday - Sunday 7:00pm-7:30am

Requirements:

• ATTENDANCE IS REQUIRED.
• MUST BE ON TIME.
• Must be able to pass a background check.
• Must be able to pass a drug screen.
